NZ wonder catch hailed across cricketing world.
Kiwi cricketers Bevan Small and Michael Mason are drawing gasps worldwide for their barely-believable outfield catch.
The Central Districts pair combined spectacularly to dismiss Northern Districts batsman Brad Wilson during an HRV Cup match at Mt Maunganui on Friday.
Wilson's straight shot seemed destined for six as it cleared the Bay Oval boundary rope but a leaping Small - on the field as a replacement fielder - leapt beyond the rope and in the same motion looped the ball back to a diving Mason to complete the catch.
The catch has been replayed on international television and more than one British newspaper has rated the catch among the best witnessed in cricket at any level
