Gun found in hospital patient's fake leg

   A Sydney hospital was placed in lockdown after the alleged discovery of a handgun hidden in a patient's prosthetic leg.
A doctor reported seeing the gun in the patient's room on level nine of the hospital about 3.50pm yesterday, police said.
No one was threatened with the weapon, but staff immediately locked the hospital down until police arrived and secured the gun.

YouTube to launch 100 'TV channels'

  Channels will be free to watch from any PC. Move to turn YouTube into rival to cable and satellite TV. First channels will roll out this autumn.

YouTube is to take a dramatic step away from its roots as a user-generated video site - launching 100 new professionally produced TV channels in partnership with stars such as Madonna and Ashton Kutcher.
